How it all started

Forneria 1121 opened in March 2016 in the Aflitos neighbourhood, in Recife, Pernambuco. It was the first forneria in the state to make its dough with levain — the famous natural fermentation — and success came quickly.

Over the following seven years Forneria 1121 kept expanding, opening the doors of two more branches, one of them in the city of Natal, in Rio Grande do Norte.
